The Uto Staffel mountain restaurant is located on the car-free Uetliberg. Zurich's local mountain can only be reached by SZU (Sihltal Zurich Uetliberg train) or on foot. From the Uetliberg terminus, a short 15-minute walk takes you to the restaurant (signposted).
Arrival by public transport
The SZU takes you from Zurich main station (S10, platform 22) to the Uetliberg terminus in 20 minutes. From there it is a 15-minute walk to the Uetliberg restaurant Uto Staffel.
Arriving by car to Uitikon-Waldegg
You can arrive by car to the Feldermoos car park on Birmesdorferstrasse in 8142 Uitikon-Waldegg. Then take the SZU to the car-free Uetliberg.
Continue from Uitikon-Waldegg
From the Feldermoos car park, it is a 10-minute walk to the Uitikon-Waldegg train station. Take the SZU to the Uetliberg terminus (2 stops). From here, it is a 15-minute walk to the Uto Staffel mountain restaurant.
